I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Justin, and together we’ve raised three awesome kids (now grown & out living their lives). Family is everything to us, and the closeness we have is truly God’s grace on our lives. We’ve also built a home where communication matters and nothing is off limits. In my mid-30s, I had a sudden outbreak of cystic acne during a season of nonstop stress: full-time student, three little kids, a crashing real estate market, Justin working extra shifts, a new puppy… and me running on fumes. My passion for proactive health deepened when my dad was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that eventually led to cancer and a long list of complications. We were incredibly close, we shared the same birthday and he married Justin and me... he’d tell me every year I was the best birthday present he ever got.
